Table of Contents Final Draft

After feedback, I have decided to remove the editor's note and to include more of the information included in the magazine rather than the editor's note. With the editor's note, it seemd as if the magazine was too short of information on what the magazine have to give. Therefore, I decided to create more info about the magazine's contents. I have also changed the Title of the contents page. Hoping it would come off a bit more fashionable. As the aim for my magazine is to be fashionable as well as musical.

Advertisement for VIVA

I was inspired by Vera Wang as she presented a princess-like fashioned sense. I wanted to go for a vintage style, therefore I have edited the image in a film, grained-like colour. I believe it would be suitable for my magazine as my magazine is based around fashion, let alone music. Moreover, although my magazine is mainly aimed at women- I believed certain men would purchase the magazine as well, as my magazine could be seen as unisex as it does include a fair share of female interests as well as men's. Therefore, I created a Calvin Klein advert hoping it would attract the male audience too.

I wanted a Summer theme therefore I looked out for chilled out/relaxed favourites of mine.

Final Copy of Front Cover

I've decided to change the image of my front cover as I've been given feedback about unchangeable things. Although I have kept the sepia-tone the same. As this was the style I aimed for.

First Draft of Magazine

Above this, is my first draft of my magazine, 'VIVA'. So far this is how I want my magazine to come across. My peers have given me feedback suggesting that I should have changed the title's font colour into something that would still grab the readers attention from afar. Moreover they liked the style of the magazine although they suggested I could have added more on the right side of the magazine. Most importantly, from the feedback it is evident there are minor changes to be made although this is just a first draft.

Photoshoot for my Music Magazine

Hopefully I should find a area that I could take my photoshoot for my magazine. During this time I should be working on make-up tips for the models and find some white backdrops I could use. I should research clothing and make up styles that the model would be featured as. There is Academic Review day on Thursday; hopefully I should find sometime to take a photoshoot then. :)
